Description

This function provides a way to add notes and comments to your notebooks.

Application

You can use this function to add further info to you notebooks. Here are some ideas on what to do specifically:

  • Add a high-level description of the notebook's scope at the top,
  • add headings to your notebooks and that way add a structure,
  • or describe the content of your dataset.

Using notes to annotate your notebook would help you and team members to recollect the notebooks purpose and content at a later time.

How to use

Just create a Note step and start writing! The note manipulator also offers extensive capabilities to format your note.

The following formatting options are available (from left to right):

  • Bold
  • Italic
  • Underline
  • Strikethrough
  • Add a Quote block
  • Heading level 1
  • Heading level 2
  • Numbered/ordered list
  • Unordered list
  • Subscript
  • Superscript
  • Decrease indent
  • Increase indent
  • Text color
  • Clear formatting (Tx)
