Release Notes for v1.26 (w/c 8 Nov 2021)

Modified on Wed, 10 Nov, 2021 at 7:56 PM

Main new developments

Connect to SQL databases

  • Load tabular data from your external SQL database, by running PostgreSQL or MySQL queries. The database connection is defined by supplying a connection URL within a .sql-datastore file.
  • With direct access to your existing SQL databases, you will avoid manually transferring and duplicating data.

Better access to more structured help

  • Help text for each manipulator is now more accessible and consistent. When hovering over a step in the manipulator panel, you will discover high-level guidance. Once, a manipulator is selected, this information is now also found using an icon next to the title name.

  • We've also been populating our Knowledge Base with more and more articles to help you find more in-depth information.

Other improvements

  • As we grow our API library, a number of our clients can now benefit from added capability to support bespoke API integrations. Please contact us if you're interested, and would like to discuss how they might benefit you too.
  • Ability to import .txt files, with new Advanced Options to encode .csv and .txt files.
  • Whilst an existing step is being re-run in a notebook, the 'Retry' button of subsequent connected steps in now disable, to discourage re-applying the step whilst data is being processed.
  • Fixed an issue about Team Leaders not having access to correct permissions (adding users to their team).
  • Fixed an issue about Grid Search combinations not being configurable in Hyperparameter Optimisation.
  • Other bug fixes
