Notebook Explorer

Notebooks can start to get quite long with many different datasets and models.

Clicking on the “Notebook explorer” button on the top right of a notebook will display a list of all data sets and models present in the notebook.

This list also enables you to follow the workflow of the notebook, and see how and when each data set and model was created, transformed, and used. For each data set or model, there is a list of the steps where it is used in the notebook.

For instance in the figure on the left:

  • Region (1) shows that the “3D Data” was only used in the train test split to generate train and test data,
  • Region (2) shows that the Encoder was used to encode 3D data to Latent dimensions.

You can also click on the link at the end of any line (for example in region 3) to directly access the relevant step in the notebook. This will also slightly change the URL of the notebook, which means that if you share this new URL with someone else, they would be brought directly to this step within the notebook.
