If you are working with 3D data in the platform, you can easily visualise it in notebooks, whether you are looking at historical data, or new data generated by the platform. The default viewing option is to show the surface, but it is also possible to see the point cloud or the actual mesh by using the following keyboard shortcuts:
“s” (surface) | “w” (wire frame) | “v” (vertex) |
Clicking and dragging rotates the geometry in 3D, and scrolling will zoom or un-zoom. You can also use the following keyboard shortcuts to facilitate the manipulation of 3D geometries:
“r” to reset the view | “Ctrl” for planar rotation | “Shift” for translation |
