Description

Quick Overview unites the functionality of Columns, Count, Head, and Random Sample into a single step. That is you get a report on the number of rows and columns, the data types, a list of all column headings, and a tabular preview of the dataset.


Application

Instead of adding three different steps to explore and visualise your dataset you can use Quick Overview to get a full summary of your dataset.


How to use

You only need to assign the dataset to evaluate in the field Data and click Apply. All other parameter are preset or optional.

Select Information

You can select which information to include in this step.

Count
Equivalent to Count; reports the number of rows and columns.
Columns
Equivalent to Columns; shows a list of all column headings.
View Table
Equivalent to Head or Random Sample, depending on option Table Type. Shows a table preview.
Table Type

You can either choose to preview the first N rows (Head) or alternatively N random rows (Random Sample) of the data set.

RowsSelect the number of rows which should be shown. The default value is 10 and can be increase up to 25.
